HOLY SPIRIT CAN NEVER ABANDON THOSE REDEEMED BY JESUS II

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.

‭John 14:16 GNT‬

‭1 Peter 2:25 GNT‬ says, “You were like sheep that had lost their way, but now you have been brought back to follow the Shepherd and Keeper of your souls.”

We are now brought back, not by our own power but by God's right hand power to the Shepherd and Keeper of our souls. If He is the good Shepherd and the only true Keeper of our souls, do you think we will ever lack, slip or fall?

In Ezekiel 34:12 GNT‬, He said, “in the same way as shepherds take care of their sheep that were scattered and are brought together again. I will bring them back from all the places where they were scattered on that dark, disastrous day.”

So, just as a Shepherd cares for his flock in moments of darkness as it is today's world, He cares for us. Glory! How?

He cares for us through His Spirit in us.” I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” ‭(Ezekiel 36:27 NKJV‬) Another place says, “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters…He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”
