Words from the wise are like sharp goads. When these sayings are written down and saved, they can be used to guide people, just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way.

Ecclesiastes 12:11 ERV

The Word of God makes us go the right way “just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way.”

The Lord once told St. Paul, who was then called Saul, when he was on His way to Damascus. “ ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’(Acts 26:14 NIV) In this verse, Jesus, the Word of God, compared himself to goads. Nothing can kick against Him, instead He makes all go the right way in life.

David said about Him, “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” (Psalms 23:2-3 NIV)

Make it a practice of ingesting the word daily, you can never fail in life for it makes you go the right way. The Word of God gives us prosperity and good success (Joshua 1:8) and it also makes our success evidenced to all.( I Timothy 4:15)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO IMMERSE OURSELVES IN THE WORD DAILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
