Words from the wise are like sharp goads. When these sayings are written down and saved, they can be used to guide people, just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way.

Ecclesiastes 12:11 ERV

St. Paul said in Acts 20:32 NIV, “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” Not only does the word of God build us up, the Word also gives us an inheritance. How? Just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way, so also it builds us up and gives us an inheritance among the saints.

It is an effortless transformation, one gets transformed while at rest. Psalm 127:2 GNT says, “ It is useless to work so hard for a living, getting up early and going to bed late. For the Lord provides for those he loves, while they are asleep.” Our joyful duty is to keep taking in the words and it builds us into goads and no circumstances can kick us around! Hallelujah!

We will be like those the Lord said that built their house on the rock, “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” ( Matthew 7:25 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO IMMERSE OURSELVES IN THE WORD DAILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
