Words from the wise are like sharp goads. When these sayings are written down and saved, they can be used to guide people, just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way.

Ecclesiastes 12:11 ERV

OUR Lord Jesus has glorified God on earth, and has given us this glory for He lives in us and displays His glory through us , so that the Father is glorified in Him. So our duty is to surrender to Him, so that His glory will be displayed through us. This means that we should be a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1-2 NLT says, “... give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable… Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think..”

The flesh is weak and cannot glorify God, and only the spirit does. The Lord said, “The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” (John 6:63 NLT) To be a living sacrifice, allowing God's glory to be displayed through our surrendered life, we have to immerse ourselves in the Word of God. For the Word will make us a living sacrifice acceptable to God just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way. That is why we were sent as sheep among wolves, for the power of Christ is made manifest in our weaknesses.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO IMMERSE OURSELVES IN THE WORD DAILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
