Words from the wise are like sharp goads. When these sayings are written down and saved, they can be used to guide people, just as a shepherd uses a sharp stick to make his sheep go the right way.
Ecclesiastes 12:11 ERV
The Lord said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.” (Mark 4:26-28 NIV)
Notice that He said the soil itself produces grain. The soil represents our heart, while the seed is the word of God. Our heart produces by itself what we sow. If we sow negative thoughts, it gives negativity, if we sow seeds of prosperity, healings, it produces prosperity and healing. Several occasions, I have seen myself in a vision cleansed and washed while meditating on the Word of God.
We all received a new heart by baptism, our duty is to keep it fertile, free of thorns and bushes. Proverbs 4:23 ESV says, “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” The word of God does that. John 15:3 says it cleanses, and Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV says, “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
The more we saturate our hearts with the Word of God, the more fruitful our lives will be.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO IMMERSE OURSELVES IN THE WORD DAILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
