INVEST IN YOUR UNION WITH CHRIST II

Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.

Have you thought about what a great investment we have in our union with Christ? You no longer worry about the bad news, financial, marital or health crisis looming around, for you are united with Christ, the very Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Psalms 103:12 ERV says, “And he has taken our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.”

Sin is the root cause of all crises in the world today. So we live a crisis free life through our union with Christ for our sins are forgiven. Isaiah 26:7 NLT says, “But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them.”

Christ has spiritually disarmed earthly distresses from harming us. Colossians 2:14-15 NLT says, “He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross”. So,

when we pass through waters of financial, marital, health crises, we will not drown.
