KEEP INTERTWINING WITH THE VINE

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:5 NIV

Someone excluded himself from the family and traveled far off, hence missed in the shares of the weekly profits from the family business . God has given us everything we need for a life that is acceptable to God. That is a rich and prosperous life in body, soul and spirit, and in all that we do. They are all in the Vine, Christ. As the branches, we need to remain in the Vine so as to receive all our daily supplies. Philippians 4:19 ESV says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. “

The Vine supplies all our needs, our part is to remain in Him through His words.

The Vine grows by twining and the branches intertwining in it. The Lord is telling us as His branches to remain in the Vine by intertwining our thoughts with His thoughts, this is done effortlessly through meditation. Christmas season is one of the seasons through it's celebration, we reap the fruits of salvation.

It's joy can easily be lost if we don't remain in the Vine by meditating upon the events and the joy of Christmas; the birth of our Savior! Whenever we live in worries, anxieties, it is because we stepped away from the Vine. We have stopped intertwining then fear steps in. For the Vine does not supply Anxiety or fear. Remember Good trees produce good fruit. God did not give us a spirit of fear or worries.
