they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

Psalms 91:12-13 NIV

Why did God specifically give the angels command concerning our feet? “they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” This is because that is the realm the enemy and his demons belong to, under our feet.

The Bible says that Christ is seated “ far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,” (Ephesians 1:21-22 NIV)

We are not placed at Christ's feet, but rather, gloriously seated with Christ at God’s right hand power. The enemy is under our feet, a subdued position, let us not buzz him into our lives. In Psalms 18:40 NLT, David said, “ You placed my foot on their necks. I have destroyed all who hated me.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN CHRIST AND KEEP THE ENEMY WHERE HE BELONGS, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
