KNOW HOW YOU GROW

All the creatures wait expectantly for you to give them their food as you determine.

Psalms 104:27 TPT

The earth is the Lord’s and it's fullness, including humans. Before the world began, God had already determined how His creations should grow or function. It is good for us to know how we grow so we don't live a fussy life. The Lord said, “Think about the lilies. They grow and become beautiful, not because they work hard or strive to clothe themselves. Yet not even Solomon, wearing his kingly garments of splendor, could be compared to a field of lilies. (Luke 12:27 TPT)

The Lilies grow beautiful not by their struggles, but because God made them that way. Psalms 104:18, 21TPT says

“You make the high mountains a home for wild goats and the rocky crag where the rock badgers burrow…The mighty lions roar for their dinner, but it’s you, God, who feeds them all.” Notice that God is the one who has ordered His creatures how they should grow, and He also feeds them all!

How about us? Romans 8:29 ESV says,

“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” Our Father has ordered us to walk in the footsteps of His Son, we grow into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ. What an honor. We are destined for greatness!

Just as the Lilies, we grow effortlessly, for all we need to live the life of His son is provided by Him. Psalms 104:27 TPT says, “All the creatures wait expectantly for you to give them their food as you determine.” He has given us His words that we may grow.1 Peter 2:2 ESV says, “Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— “ That we are not growing is not because God is angry at us and not feeding us, but, because we are not feeding from His words.
