LEAP WITH JOY FOR GOD IS OUR REWARD

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”

Genesis 15:1 NIV

What is your reward in this life? What do you seek in life as your ultimate mark of success; money, good health, marriage etc? Have you thought about what it means that God is your reward? Christ in you the hope of glory “. Hebrews 11:6 NIV says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Many really believe that God exists, but never believe that He does His job as God, “that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Those moments in our life, when it appears that all has failed us, all hope is lost, we should look around and encourage ourselves that God is our excellent reward. Habakkuk 3:17-18 CEV says,” Fig trees may no longer bloom, or vineyards produce grapes; olive trees may be fruitless, and harvest time a failure; sheep pens may be empty, and cattle stalls vacant— but I will still celebrate because the Lord God is my Savior.”

In a world that is broken as it is today, our mindset in all circumstances is that God exists, and that He is our excellent reward. Such a mindset keeps us joyful and never to walk in regrets, malice or hate. God sent Moses to Pharaoh, but Moses was worried about His speech impediment. ”The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? (Exodus 4:11 NIV).

WE BLESS YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR YOU ARE OUR EXCELLENT REWARD, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
