LEARN TO ISSUE ROYAL COMMANDS III

I am your only God, the living God. Wasn’t I the one who broke the strongholds over you and raised you up out of bondage? Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be!”

‭Psalm 81:10 TPT

Ponder this, “The words that you speak, so shall it be!” How? The word of God is Spirit, they are alive and active. Remember the words of the Roman centurion, when Jesus wanted to walk to His house and heal his servant, He said “ Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” (Matthew 8:8)

Our ever willing to help, Jesus, is now in us as our ever present help, the Holy Spirit. The Lord does not need to walk miles to our house anymore to heal us, for He lives in us. All we need is to issue God's commands, and the Holy Spirit who lives in us does His own work. Jesus called Him in John 14:16, “ Allos Parakletos” ‘, A Greek word meaning another Helper, the same as Him.

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever , the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. “ (‭John 14:16-17 NKJV‬) That is why the word of God is Spirit, they are alive and active, cleanses and comforts!
