God's agenda for redeeming us is to care for us, to make us His own flock for It is His pleasure to give us His kingdom. In ‭Ezekiel 34:12,14-16 NLT ‬ He said, “ I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them…There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills. I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace,.. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak..”

That is why the gospel is about the goodness of God. He is not searching people to condemn them for their sins but to give them inheritance among His saints. That is why we share God's goodness and not condemnation. We are calling them to come and receive the inheritance Jesus already purchased for them. “ Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.” (1 Peter 2:25 NLT)

Christ is our inheritance! He is our true Shepherd. Because He is our Shepherd, we have all that we need, for He lets us rest in green pastures and renews our strength. He guides us along the right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when we walk through the darkest valley, we will not be afraid, for He is with us. His goodness and unfailing love follows us all the days of our lives, (Psalms 23) Glory! This is our joy and our testimony! Hallelujah!
