You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.

-‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Ponder this, “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you…”. Think of how our life would be if during challenges,we remember this verse, “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you ” . Instead of worrying over the troubles of our lives, or living in regrets and sin consciousness, we remember that He chose us and made us fruitful despite our weaknesses. “Be fruitful and multiply” It is not about our merits but by the merit of Him who chose us.

It is really good that the Lord chose us, and not that we chose Him. This way there is a guaranteed and everlasting position in His life. For He chose us not that we are qualified but because of His grace. In Ezekiel‬ ‭36:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬, He said of the house of Israel, “I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. In verse 32 , He said, “ Not for your sakes do I this,”

Take for instance, our doctors might come up with some diagnosis about our eyes, kidney, liver , heart etc. We should remember that we did not choose to be born or ask God for a kidney , liver, heart etc. God is the one who chose us and gave us our kidney, liver, heart etc. So our health is not about our merits but by His merit.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REMAIN IN UNION WITH JESUS SO AS TO BEAR FRUIT THAT WILL NOT SPOIL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
