And you, who were formerly alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight,

Colossians 1:21-22 MEV

Beloved, we are those reconciled to God, We are no longer alienated or enemies. 1 Peter 2:10 MEV says, “ In times past, you were not a people, but now you are the people of God. You had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Think about the very One to whom we have been reconciled to, the Giver of mercy. For with Him there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption. (Psalms 130:7)

Hebrews 12:2 calls Him the Author and finisher of our faith. He authored our life even before we knew good or evil.Psalms 139:16 MEV says,”...And in Your book were they all written, the days created for me, when as yet there were none of them.” He will also perfect what He wrote for us on the day of the Lord.

The sweetest part of being reconciled to God is that He already knows all that pertains to the life He authored for us and has provided them.( 2 Peter 1:3) This could be seen in the parable of the prodigal son. When he reconciled with the father, not only did he receive mercy before asking, the father also gave him all that pertains to his sonship;the best robe, a ring on his hand, shoes on his feet, and the fattened calf. Glory! (See Luke 15)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE AS THOSE RECONCILED TO GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
