And you, who were formerly alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight,

Colossians 1:21-22 MEV

Beloved, are you enjoying the goodies that come with being reconciled with God? I give you a hint, when the prodigal son reconciles with the father. The Bible says in Luke 15:22-23 MEV, “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him. And put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. Bring here the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry.” Notice that the prodigal son did not put on all those by himself, rather the father ordered the servants to do so.

This is in line with God's words in Psalms 91:11-12 MEV, “for He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.” Imagine what it means that the angels are carrying us in their arms, that means a struggle free life. For just as with the prodigal son, God has given the angels command to provide us all that we need for life and godliness at the right time and place.

That many are not enjoying a reconciled life with God is because of lack of knowledge. They forgot that we are no longer enemies to God, rather friends. Hosea 1:10 MEV says, “And in the place where it was said to them, “You are not My people,” there it will be said to them, “You are the sons of the living God.” Our duty is to grow in knowledge so we can receive all God has given us in Christ.( Philemon 1:6)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE AS THOSE RECONCILED WITH GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
