LIVE BY FAITH

“‭For we live by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV‬

Though we are now children of God, we might still face troubles of this fallen world for what we shall be has not yet been revealed. (1John 3:2) So, we walk by faith as children of God and not by sight of our troubles. ‭Psalm 116:10 GNT‬ says, “ I kept on believing, even when I said, “I am completely crushed,”

That is why the Lord said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”(‭John 16:33 NIV‬) The Bible tells us that the Israelites who went to explore the land concluded, “We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”(‭Numbers 13:33 NLT)

How did they even know the thoughts of the giants there? They live by sight. The Demon possessed man that no man could bind, recognized Jesus as the son of the Most High and knelt before Him. (See Mark 5) Those mountains that you are worried about, have you asked yourself how they see you? That is why ‭Proverbs 3:5 NIV‬ says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”
