LIVE BY GRACE

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

John 3:19 NIV

The Lord did not die for us because we stopped sinning, instead He died while we were sinning, when we were dead in sin. Ephesians 2:8 NIV says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”.

It is too late for one to say that God is not answering him or her because of sin. For

He brought us to Himself even while we were sinning. Colossians 2:6 NIV says, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,”. That is, just as you received by grace, continue to live by grace daily.

Sin did not stop us from being saved, and will not stop us now if we live by grace. The only thing sin does to us is that it

lives us with a guilty conscience, making us self centered which is why many stay in the dark instead of coming to the light to receive from the Lord. That is why our theme says, “ Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
