LIVE BY HIS WILL

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

-‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

A Christian life is not about how much miracles we perform, or good we do, how much prayers or word of God we share, or followers. But rather we are defined by doing the will of our heavenly Father. What is His will? ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

says, “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;”

Beloved we are not of the world, but the world is getting darker daily, we need to stay sanctified to God to make it through it. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24‭-‬27‬ ‭NIV‬‬ says, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

What defines us is not how much trouble we face in this dark world, but how much word of God we have in our spirits. No wonder the Lord said in ‭‭John‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬,

“ Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”
