OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

LIVE FOR CHRIST

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Matthew 5:13 NIV

Many christians believe that life is safe if they live a normal or natural life, just work and spend time with family and friends till they die. The truth is that we are the salt of the earth, it is more risky living a normal, natural life than living as salt. For “if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”

What defines us as salts is the glory of Christ in us, so we are called to surrender our life so that the glory of Christ might be displayed to the world through us. That is to live as those dead to the world but alive through Christ. For we no longer live, Christ lives in us, we live by His faith.

John the Baptist said, “ He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30 NKJV)

It makes no difference what you do for a living, whether a minister of God or not, what makes us salt is surrendering our lives, decreasing so that the life of Christ can impact the world. Do all things through Christ irrespective of how we feel. Salts don't live for themselves but for others, or “ it is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” The Lord said, “If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.(Matthew 10:39 NLT)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE FOR CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
