LIVE FROM HEAVEN WHILE WALKING ON EARTH CONCLUSION

Beloved,as we conclude our series, let us focus on the truth. The Lord said to Pilate during His trial, , “... the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of the truth listens to me.”(John 18:37 NIV) We are children of truth, James 1:18 NIV says, “He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.”
Just as Christ, we bear witness to the truth.
Colossians 3:3 reminds us that our real life is hidden with Christ in God. Christ is truth and our lives are concealed in truth. As those whose lives are concealed in truth, Psalm 91:4 declares that His truth is our shield and buckler.
Beloved, our shifting circumstances, material possessions, physical well-being, or even our personal progress in overcoming sin are not our shield and buckler—God’s truth is! This is why Jesus prayed to the Father, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John 17:16–17 NKJV).
Many children of God are living as victims of their circumstances because they live by worldly standards rather than by the truth.
Ecclesiastes 10:7 NIV says, “I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves.” This is why we are called to align our hearts with His truth, by pondering His words, then we can assume our permanent place as true children of God.
No wonder the Lord said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free…Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. ”
(John 8:31-32, 34-36 NIV).
