LIVE FROM YOUR SPIRITUAL VISION V

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:12-13 ESV

In the Bible, when the Israelites murmured against God and He sent them the seraph serpents , He later offered them a solution, something to look up to and live. In Numbers 21:9 NLT, “ Moses made a snake out of bronze and attached it to a pole. Then anyone who was bitten by a snake could look at the bronze snake and be healed!” He gave them a spiritual vision to live by.

In Deuteronomy 7:17-18 NLT Moses said to the Israelites, “Perhaps you will think to yourselves, ‘How can we ever conquer these nations that are so much more powerful than we are?’ But don’t be afraid of them! Just remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all the land of Egypt.” He gave them a spiritual vision to live by.

The same way, the Lord also gave us a spiritual vision to live by, the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord said, “And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.”( John 3:14-15 NLT) The cross is our victory. Our mindset In all circumstances is that He has overcome them, “ it is finished.”
