LIVE IN HIS LOVE

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭44:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes, we might be worried about the series of troubles we are facing that seem not to end. The truth is that victory is not from us that we should be worried, but rather from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. It has been because of His right hand and love for us that we are not consumed. Moses told the Israelites “You were the weakest of all nations, [but the Lord chose you because he loves you and because he had made a promise to your ancestors. Then with his mighty arm, he rescued you from the king of Egypt, who had made you his slaves.” (‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:7‭-‬8‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

Beloved, in all circumstances, let us take our eyes away from ourselves and focus on Jesus. It is not about what we can do, but rather about the victory God's right hand has given to us in Christ because of His love for us. It is good to remember this always and not falter in difficult moments.

The Psalmist said, “In days filled with trouble, I search for you. “Have you rejected me forever? Won't you be kind again? Is this the end of your love and your promises? (Psalm 77:2, 7- 8 CEV) How joyful our life would be during trials, if we remember that it is not about us or what God can do for us, but rather what His right hand has accomplished for us in Christ because of His steadfast love that endures forever.
