LIVE IN HIS REST

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

-‭Genesis 2:2 AMPC‬

Our heavenly Father rested because all was completed and all is good. He also invites us to rest with Him for “It is finished “. ‭Hebrews 4:11 NKJV‬ says, “ Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.”

Our only work is to be diligent , strive to enter His rest by believing in our hearts that it is finished. The Lord said ‭in John 6:29 NIV‬, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” That is, we should keep on believing that it is finished, even when it seems otherwise in the natural. ‭Psalm 116:10 GNT‬ says, “I kept on believing, even when I said, “I am completely crushed,”

We keep on believing by spending time in word meditations as the only light for our feet. ‭James 1:23-24 NKJV‬says, “ For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes , and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
