LIVE IN JOYFUL HOPE

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

I Peter 1:3 NKJV

Jesus, while on earth performed many miracles. John 21:25 NKJV says, “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.”

Yet this same Jesus, knowing that we might still see troubles in this world though He has overcome, said to His disciples, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”(John 16:7 NKJV)

He is taking us to greater things than what was experienced while He was on earth, a sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The same Power that raised Jesus from the dead, lives in us, God's own miracle working power lives in us. No wonder He said to Nathaniel, “ You will see greater things than these.” (John 1:50 NKJV)

Let us look past our earthly troubles, but

always have a joyful expectation of something good at all times because of what Jesus has done.
