NO MORE AGONY

Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

Isaiah 53:4 NKJV

The Lord has canceled agony in our lives by His agony on the cross. It doesn't matter the agony we might go through in our lives, be it financially, marital, health, loss of beloved ones, rejoice for He has overcome them for us. Psalms 34:18-19 NIV says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;”

Isaiah 61:1, 3 NIV also says,”The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

No more worries, rather be brave in moments of agony, for the Lord has canceled it for us on the cross. Psalms 30:11 NIV says, “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,” No wonder God said in Isaiah 65:19 NIV, “I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.”
