OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

NO WORRIES

For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

‭Colossians 3:3 AMPC‬

We worry because we set our minds on this world, our finances, marriages etc which are perishable, but our worries cease if we set our minds on our new and real life that is imperishable, hidden in Christ.

In Acts 7:60, the Bible says that Stephen fell asleep, not dead after they stoned him, this shows that we have an unending life. Where this present life ends, our new and real life kicks in. ‭2 Corinthians 5:1 NIV‬ says, “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” GLORY! No worries!

‭Psalms 80:8 NIV‬ says, “ You transplanted a vine from Egypt;” . This shows that we are no longer worrisome slaves, a perishable life but imperishable, we reign as kings. That is why ‭Colossians 1:13 NIV‬ says, “ For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,”

Our worry free life lies in resting on what Christ has done and not on what the enemy is doing. Instead of worrying about what the thief came to steal, kill or destroy, we focus on Christ's finished work, eternal life. We live by His merit and not our merit.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LET GO OF WORRIES OF THIS LIFE AND REST IN OUR NEW LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
