ONENESS WITH THE FATHER

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

‭John 14:9 NLT‬

The Lord is revealing a great mystery regarding our new life ; oneness with the Father. “ Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” .In verse 10 of our verse, He said, “ Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.”

This means that as the Father is, so is Jesus. Hebrew 1:3 calls Him the express image of the Father. “As the Father has life in himself, So He has granted the Son also to have life in himself” The same way, as Jesus is, so are we now in this world. As He is prosperous and in good health, so are we.

We are one Spirit with Him, an unbroken union, one without gap. Because He lives we shall live. Because He is prosperous and in good health, we are also prosperous and in good health. Just as He said, “my Father who lives in me does his work through me.” The same way, He lives His life through us, “Christ in you is the hope of glory!”
