OUR FAMILY TREE ENDURES FOREVER II

His family tree is here for good, his sovereignty as sure as the sun, Dependable as the phases of the moon, inescapable as weather.

Psalms 89:36-37 MSG

St. Peter said about Jesus, "But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him" (Acts 2:24 NIV) Sin the cause of death has been nailed to the cross that we might live for righteousness. So we reign through righteousness. So it is impossible for death to hold us down. Hence our finances, marriages, health and wellbeing etc, are here for good, dependable as the phases of the moon.

That is why our theme says, “His family tree is here for good, his sovereignty as sure as the sun, Dependable as the phases of the moon, inescapable as weather.” Imagine that His sovereignty is as sure as the sun! The Bible says about the sun, “The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.” (Psalms 19:6 NLT)

Because we are in union with Christ, our sovereignty is as sure as the sun. Nothing can hide from our reign, all things have been placed under our feet. Death cannot hold our family tree down for it is a righteous tree, we are conceived in righteousness, God's holy kings, we reign through Jesus and will reign with Him forever! Glory!
