His family tree is here for good, his sovereignty as sure as the sun, Dependable as the phases of the moon, inescapable as weather.

Psalms 89:36-37 MSG

The Lord in John 17:25 called the Father, a righteous Father.“ Our heavenly Father is a righteous Father, He sets things right. That is why He sent Jesus to set things right on earth. Jeremiah 33:15 NLT says,

“In those days and at that time I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line. He will do what is just and right throughout the land.”

The Lord has set things right for us.

Remember the sovereignty we lost due to sin, “Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” (Genesis 1:28 NLT) This has been restored in a far greater way due to His righteousness. He has given us an everlasting dynasty! A better deal than before. No wonder Mary said, “He has put down the mighty from their thrones, And exalted the lowly.”
