OUR LIVES ARE THE DISPLAY OF HIS SPLENDOR

“In this way, they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them. And they will know that they, the people of Israel, are my people, says the Sovereign Lord.”

Ezekiel 34:30 NLT

In the preceding verses, Ezekiel 34:25–29, the Lord describes all that He will do for His sheep. Then, in our theme verse, He reveals the purpose behind His works: by all He has done, they will know that He is with them.

Beloved, our lives are meant to be a testimony of what God has done.

Isaiah 60:21 NIV says: “They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.” What a powerful truth! We are the planting of the Lord, created to display His glory and splendor. Our lives are living testimonies of His greatness, goodness, faithfulness, and power.

Psalm 92:15 ERV says: “They are there to show everyone that the Lord is good. He is my Rock, and he does no wrong.”

Therefore, we must continually enthrone God's truth above everything that seeks to contradict His goodness and glory. We refuse to allow sickness, hardship, failure, bitterness, rage, hatred, or any work of darkness to become the final testimony of our lives. God's glory must have the final word!

This is why we cannot remain silent. We must boldly declare what the Lord has done! Psalm 22:30 NLT says: “Our children will also serve him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord.” So, In Psalm 92:2, we shall declare God’s lovingkindness with our children, children. And in the night ,we shall declare to them His faithfulness.
