OUR STRENGTH IS ANCHORED IN HIS JOY

.. Today is a special day to our Lord. Don’t be sad, because the joy of the Lord will make you strong.

‭Nehemiah 8:10 ERV‬

One might ask, how can the joy of the Lord make us strong ? ‭‭Ponder this: God said, “I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.”( Isaiah 65:19 NIV‬‬) The joy we have realizing that sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in our life no more for God takes delights and rejoices over us, is enough to make us strong, bold and walking with uplifted faces!

Imagine the joy the prodigal son had, seeing how joyful the father was in welcoming him, and how it pleased him to joyfully restore all he lost. The Lord still rejoices and celebrates us and nothing can rob Him of that joy, hence “ sound of weeping and of crying is not our possessions anymore Glory!

It is His joy that we are Heirs of His JOY, kingdom, power and glory and hence cannot be plundered anymore, our strength is anchored in our JOY! Let us make this joy of the Lord our strength in all tribulations for He is the God who delights in the prosperity of His children. Our horn is lifted high in His favor, and His favor is for a lifetime.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN THE JOY OF THE LORD, THE ANCHOR OF OUR STRENGTH IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
