PARTAKE IN THE BLOOD

With the pure You will show Yourself pure, and with the perverse You will show Yourself contrary.

‭Psalm 18:26 AMPC‬

Just as the Lord commanded the Israelites, “ The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.” (‭Exodus 12:13 NIV‬) In the same way, we that partake in the blood of Jesus through Holy Communion, are shielded from evil, no plague of this world shall ever touch us.

‭Psalms 91:5-7 NIV‬ says, “ You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.” This is all by the power of the blood of Jesus.

That is why our theme says, “With the pure You will show Yourself pure, and with the perverse You will show Yourself contrary.” For the blood continually cleanses us from all sin and distress as we partake in it. ‭Psalms 18:24 NIV‬ says, “The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.”
