Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Colossians 3 :16 BSB

St. Paul spoke about the word of God as an armour against the enemy. “...and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17 BSB) We can solve crises most of the time, simply by meditating on the word of God. Psalms 119:95 BSB says, “The wicked wait to destroy me, but I will ponder Your testimonies.”

The crowd with Jesus in the desert, were listening to Jesus preaching to them for 3 days, and the Lord was worrying over their welfare. Matthew 15:32 BSB says,

“Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”

Peter worked hard all night but could not catch any fish. But after listening to Jesus preach, they caught a great number of fish that their net began to tear. (See Luke 5) Joshua 1:8 BSB says, “ This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do.”

Let us ponder His words and not our troubles.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PONDER HIS WORDS, ESPECIALLY IN TROUBLES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
