PRAY THE ROSARY WITH JOY, WITH OUR KINGDOM MINDSET

How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?

Psalms 137:4 NIV

The message of the angel to Mary, is our song of salvation, and cannot be sung with a captivity mindset. It is a message that lifted us out of captivity into kingship.

The angel said to Mary, “ He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”(Luke 1:32-33 NIV)

We are reigning through Christ and our kingdom will never end. Mary said that in her song, “He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.”(Luke 1:52 NIV ) This is awesome, we are not ruled by sickness, hardships, failures etc. Rather we rule over them and our kingdom will never end. Remember our kingdom is not of sight and the gate of hell cannot prevail.

Let us always recite this message with joy, with a king's mindset and not a slave's mindset. For when we do so, we are proclaiming our victory, escape from captivity, we are no longer slaves in a foreign land, we are now kings in God's kingdom. Our theme verse says it good,

“How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?
