PRAY WITH CONFIDENCE

I love the Lord, for He has heard my voice— my appeal for mercy.

Psalms 116:1 BSB

Think of how sweet it would be if we can come to God in confidence knowing that He has already granted our requests.

1 John 5:14-15 BSB says, “And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.” Such confidence comes through a sound relationship with the Lord daily with His words.

Ponder how the Lord prayed at the tomb of Lazarus who was dead for 4 days, “...Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me, but I say this for the benefit of the people standing here, so they may believe that You sent Me.” (John 11:41-42 BSB) Let us be confident in prayers, “For all the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him, our “Amen” is spoken to the glory of God.( 2 Corinthians 1:20 BSB) Glory!

Remember that it was not our idea, rather God's idea and pleasure before the foundation of the world to make us joint heirs with Christ to all He has. No more worries, instead feed on His Words daily.

John 15:7 BSB says, “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PRAY TO GOD WITH CONFIDENCE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
