PUT ON YOUR NEW SUIT III

and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Consider this scenario from the parable of the prodigal son, “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate." ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭15:22‭-‬24‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Notice that the first thing the Father did was to clothe him, for that is what defines his sonship. Imagine if he is moving around the house without the royal robe, everyone will look down on him and the Father will not receive his glory from his son. In another parable of the wedding feast, the king commanded that the man who was not wearing his wedding clothes be tied hand and foot, and thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ( ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22)

Let us put on our new suit, live in the consciousness that we are in union with Jesus, this way we can bear fruit and the Father will be glorified in the Son. Just as the prodigal son commands respect and honor for wearing his robe. In the same way', living in a conscious mindset of our union with Christ shapes our natural circumstances with victory!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PUT ON OUR NEW SELF IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
