Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven! For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.”

Luke 2:14 TPT

Our theme was the song of the angels glorifying God for what He has done for mankind, “For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.” Think about what it means that not only did God choose a human to be the mother of His beloved Son, He also chose humans to be His beloved children! There is now peace, oneness with God, and hope for mankind! Psalm 8:4 ESV says about it, “ what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”

As we are getting ready for our Christmas feast, let us prepare our hearts by contemplating on the goodness of God to mankind. Psalms 138:6 TPT says, “For though you are lofty and exalted, you stoop to embrace the lowly. Yet you keep your distance from those filled with pride.”

God does not forsake the lowly, there is hope for mankind. If He did not forsake us when we were nothing, how much more now that we are His children?

Hebrews 2:11 tells us that the Lord is not ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters irrespective of our circumstances. In the same way, we have to renounce ourselves and all possessions and receive Him the way He is, in Spirit and in truth. We don't need to have it all to prove to the world that Christ is in us. That is, we don't allow our natural circumstances to define His presence in our lives.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REFLECT ON GOD'S GOODNESS ALL THE TIME IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
