REFLECTIONS FROM BOOK OF ESTHER IV

GOD'S COMMANDS CANNOT BE REVOKED

Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

‭‭John 19:22 KJV‬‬

In chapter 8 of the book of Esther, Modercai received the King's ring and issued a decree which could not be reversed according to the law of medes and Persians; “By these the king allowed the Jews who were in every city to gather and defend their lives, to destroy, to slay, and to annihilate any armed force of any people or province that might attack them, with their children and women, and to plunder their goods”(‭‭Esther 8:11 RSV-C‬‬)

The same way, our Lord Jesus having received all authorities in heaven and earth, gave us the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy;‭‭(Luke 10:19)

We know that the word of God cannot be broken. In ‭‭John 10:35 KJV‬‬, the Lord said, “ If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken”.

Just as the Israelites stood firm in the command of Mordecai and prevailed, the same way we should stand strong in the authority Jesus gave us in His name “to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” for what is written is written”.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN THE WORD OF GOD DESPITE WHAT OUR EARTHLY CIRCUMSTANCES MIGHT REFLECT IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
