REIGN OVER ALL THINGS I

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Romans 5:17 NIV

God's purpose of creating man is for man to be like Him and also to rule over all He created. In Genesis 1:26 NIV, God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Man in his sinful state could not function like God, so can not live this purpose.

That is why by grace He created us in Christ, His true image and likeness. In Christ, we are created in true holiness and righteousness so we can serve the purpose God planned for us before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Though we are in a sinful world, we still serve God's purpose, that is we reign over all things for we are not under sin, we are under grace. Just as sin reigned causing death, in the same way, if we live in the consciousness of His grace and gift of righteousness, everything whether good or bad will be subject to us. Romans 8:28 NIV says it all , “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REIGN OVER ALL THINGS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
