Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.

Isaiah 60:20 NLT

Darkness or sunset is often seen as a period of mourning or weeping . Psalms 30:5 NLT says about it, “Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Our theme is telling us that our periods of mourning are over, because “your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light”

The word of God does not lie, let us learn to walk in its light, and not in the light of the world. Psalm 27:1 says that If we make the Lord our light and salvation, why should we be afraid? Yes, why should we be afraid of sickness, or the economic conditions in the world today? For we have no business defining out health, wealth etc, by external or worldly standards, rather by the finished work of the Cross of Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved, let us rejoice, for really our days of mourning, sickness, hardships etc have come to an end for the Lord is our light and our salvation. We don't have a roller coaster kind of life, rather our lives shine brighter and brighter like the early sunlight until full light of the day. Romans 3:4 NIV says, “ Let God be true, and every human being a liar.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WALK IN THE LIGHT OF HIS WORDS IN JESUS NAME AMEN
