REJOICE FOR YOUR DAYS OF MOURNING ARE OVER II

Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.

Isaiah 60:20 NLT

The Lord said to the Jewish Authorities, “You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.” (John 8:15 MEV) We are born of the Spirit and can not be judged by the flesh, external standards. 2 Corinthians 5:16 MEV says, “ So from now on we do not regard anyone according to the flesh…” We are not defined by the darkness of the world today, for our light is not from the world but from God. Our light shines in the darkness and darkness cannot absorb it.

That is why Micah 7:8 MEV says. “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Although I have fallen, I will rise; although I dwell in darkness, the Lord is my light.” To the world, It might appear to them that we are perishing, but in the eye of God we are not. We are like the bush engulfed in flames but never burnt. (Exodus 3:2)

Beloved, our days of sorrows, sickness, hardships have really come to an end. Let us trust God for that. There is hope for every trouble we go through, for the Lord is our light. Psalms 18:28 MEV says, “For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.”

Remember, in the Lord we are receiving grace upon grace. Hence, sin and sorrows, will not be our master, because we are not under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14 )
