REJOICE IN HIS FINISHED WORK

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.

‭John 17:4 NIV‬

The Lord has glorified God on earth by His finished work on the cross. This finished work of His glory is displayed in our lives today through our union with Christ. In ‭John 17:23 NIV‬, He said, “I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. “

Ponder this:” Then the world will know that you sent me”. Why did God send Jesus? “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (‭John 3:16 NIV‬) This means that Jesus is displaying His glorious, imperishable life in our finances, marriages, health etc. No wonder He is our hope of glory!

The sweetest part is this: “Then the world will know that you ..loved them even as you have loved me.” The Bible tells us that the Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Because we are born of His love, every creature listens to us! Remember the voice from the cloud, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”(‭Matthew 17:5 NIV‬)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ALWAYS REJOICE IN HIS FINISHED WORK IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
