the Lord, whose promises I praise.

Psalm 56:10 GNT

Have you asked why God prepares our table in the presence of our enemies? It is for our enemies to discover the glory of Christ in us and turn to Him. It is an opportunity for them to test and see that our Lord is good. The Lord Said "..let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬) The Lord already paid for their salvation, it is for them to change their minds and collect it.

That is why we have to stand strong in the strength of the Lord. Remember at the victory of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, king Nebuchadnezzar, who wanted to kill them said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God." ( ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

No wonder we are chosen to display His excellences. Our duty is to deny ourselves, pick up our crosses and follow Him. That is to imitate our Lord Jesus l, who denied Himself, picked up His cross and accomplished the work God sent Him to do . The Bible says " Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, " (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:5‭-‬6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY AND PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
