the Lord, whose promises I praise.
Psalm 56:10 GNT
If our sufficiency is from Christ, that is He completes all our lacks in life, then we don't mind going through lack so Christ can be our sufficiency. No wonder St. Paul said "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV)
One might ask, if Christ is my sufficiency, why am I going through challenges in life? We are made complete not by our wealth, sickness free or sin free life, but by our union with the holy triune God, paid fully by Christ's chastisement. That defines our natural world and not the other way round. The Bible says, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority." (Colossians 2:9-10 NIV)
TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY AND PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
