the Lord, whose promises I praise.

Psalm 56:10 GNT

Remain in the Lord daily by His words, meditate on His words day and night. The Holy Spirit keeps us dedicated to the Lord through His words. Remember, we will always find new strength to live by and to receive Him as we wait eagerly for Him. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ says, “ But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

If we live by the word of God, we will discover the love of God beyond human senses, needed to escape all that is about to happen, and be able to stand before the Son of Man. How? The word will make us cheerful and at peace for the Lord has already overcome sin and all that is about to happen.

St. Augustine said “ Let us not resist his first coming, so that we may not dread the second”. If we don't understand the first coming, it is difficult to wait in joyful hope for His coming again. For instance, ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ 11:26‬ NIV‬ says,”whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

The Lord’s death was our death. So, we are proclaiming that we are dead now to sin and distress, hence blameless and without a single fault now until He comes again! This is great! If we proclaim this with our heart everyday, how can we ever live in fear or dread His coming again?

TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
