the Lord, whose promises I praise.

Psalm 56:10 GNT

Who do you behold in times of distress, the distress or Jesus? John 1:29 tells us to behold Jesus, the spotless and unblemished Lamb of God that takes away sin and it's distress from us. Why? "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)

OUR joyful duty as children of God is to testify to the glorious work of Jesus on the cross, yes the work God did in Christ on the cross to give us eternal life. We don't confess to our earthly circumstances, but to the glorious work of the cross. Why? Because the gospel of Jesus is about all that God did right in Christ, God's righteousness, not what we did right in Christ, our righteousness. That is why it is the power of God that saves all , for God's work is flawless.

TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY AND PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
