REJOICE IN HIS PROMISES XXI

the Lord, whose promises I praise.

Psalm 56:10 GNT

God did not only redeem us, He also makes sure we don't slip into captivity again. Psalms 56:13 NLT says, "For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light." I like how the Message translation says it in Psalm 40:2: " He lifted me out of the ditch, pulled me from deep mud. He stood me up on a solid rock to make sure I wouldn’t slip"

James 4:7 tells us that the way to resist the enemy is first of all to surrender to God. If you receive someone else's bills, you pass it to the person, the rightful owner. That is how to surrender to God, align your thoughts with His thoughts, not His thoughts with your thoughts. The enemy is already afraid and defeated by God's thoughts over us. James 2:19 CEV tells us that . "Even demons believe this, and it makes them shake with fear."

Romans 5:1 KJV says "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" Ponder this: if we have saved by the Ever present help, the God that helped us when we were not at peace with Him, how about now that we are at peace with Him, and are His body, the bone of His bones and the flesh of His flesh?

TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY AND PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
