Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

Romans 5:3 BSB

Perseverance in trials does not mean conceding or losing hope. It shows weakness of the flesh but strong in the Lord. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”(II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV)

You build grace through perseverance for you draw strength from the Lord as you wait. Psalms 130:5 NKJV says, “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.” . For instance if you are waiting for a healing, instead of worrying over it, you wait, putting your hope in His Word that says “ By His wounds we were healed “. As you keep aligning your thoughts with His thoughts, you are building grace. II Peter 1:2 NKJV says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” Imagine how grace is multiplied in your life through this one act of perseverance.

Romans Romans 5:17 BSB says, “ For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!” No wonder James 1:2-4 BSB says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REJOICE IN OUR SUFFERINGS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
