All nations surrounded me; in the name of the Lord I cut them off!

Psalm 118:10 ESV

The big mistake many make is trying to define themselves by their haves or have-nots, instead of focusing on; as Christ is, so are we in this world. Isaiah 31:1 NIV says, “ Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.

Think about this verse, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16 NIV) The verse did not say, God gave us all things so we don't perish, rather He gave us Jesus, so that those who believe in Him will not perish. So, it is our duty to live on Jesus and not on our haves or have-nots. No wonder the Psalmist said, “ Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (Psalms 20:7 NIV)

Remember, God is Spirit , so we relate to him beyond our senses. John 4:24 NIV says, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

We have eternal life through our union with Christ and not through our haves and have-nots. Psalms 33:16 NIV says, “No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO RELY ON JESUS, AND NOT ON OUR STRENGTHS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
