If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.‭‭

Psalms 94:18 NKJV‬‬

Remember these verses from our model prayer: “do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” (‭‭Matthew 6:13 NKJV‬‬) In Christ we are set apart from the evil world so that they cannot harm us and we are shielded from their temptations. So we should not accept those thoughts they throw at us, for we are not in the realm of flesh but in Spirit.

Just as in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:26), where there is a ‭‭great chasm separating them that the rich man cannot cross over to Lazarus and he cannot cross over to the rich man. The same way, though we are in this world, we are in Christ, and there is a great separation between us and the kingdom of darkness that they cannot rule over us and we cannot cross over to live in darkness. “no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”

That is why Psalms 125:3 NLT‬‬ says that ‭”The wicked will not rule the land of the godly, for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.” Poverty, sickness, untimely death, marital issues etc shall not rule us in Christ for their snares, sin is broken and we have escaped from their jurisdiction of death to that of life of our Lord Jesus Christ! John 5:24 says that we have passed from the realm of death to the realm of life!

‭‭

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REMEMBER JOY OF THE GOOD NEWS ALWAYS IN JESUS NAME AMEN !

THANK YOU JESUS!
